Filming in Lake Tahoe

Yes…you can film in Lake Tahoe but I wouldn’t recommend a hot air balloon over the lake.

On the production of “Romance in the Air” we had the opportunity to make the movie in two states, California and Utah.

While in California we were able to highlight the natural beauty of crystal clear water of Lake Tahoe. Even though we could take a hot air balloon ride over the lake, the weather conditions and cost were an obstacle.

Back in Utah we filmed exteriors in Park City, and interiors in Orem. We also rented a real hot air balloon and filmed these hero shots in Midway.

With the magic of editing we were able to seamlessly merge the multiple locations to appear to take place in the iconic vacation destination.

I love to film on exotic locations and look forward to the next adventure.
