Advice from Kevin Sorbo
Kevin Sorbo helped me prioritize my family while developing my career.
I enjoyed working with Kevin Sorbo on a few projects over the years. We worked on a fantasy series called Mythica as well as the Park City Film Festival.
After one particular visit we we were driving to the different TV stations and we got onto the topic of child education. His eyes lit up as he talked about all the opportunities he was able to share with his children and how all that he has achieved in his career will never be as amazing as it is to be a husband and father.
That conversation had a lasting impact on me.
For years I was putting in 60-80 hours a week to achieve more in my career. What I did not realize was that the my career was just a tool to help me provide for the wonderful people in my life. And if I was going to spend all my time at work, then was I ever going to enjoy what I had?
So I took a step back and assessed what my family really needed. They needed ME!
Now my family REALLY is the center of my decision making when it comes to my career. And they are getting as much of me as I can give.

Sumo earned us 50 MILLION
In 2021 I was working with Ninja Kidz and had the opportunity to produce 3 videos in 1 day with Sumo Yama. this resulted in a combines view count of 50 MILLION views between all 3 videos. This video was a lot of fun, especially when we had Yama jump off the cliff into for a cannonball.

Producing Livestreams
I have been live-streaming video on social media since 2015 and I still get nervous.
Before the start of a livestream the producer meets with the client to outline the show, write scripts for the teleprompter and pre-produce any videos that will play as part of the live-stream.
Even with the best plans I still need to be able to adapt to challenges.
The internet can go out, a cable can have a short, the mic cable can get broken, the host may need to be replaced last minute.
Hiring professionals that understand how to troubleshoot these problems and have backups to their backups are vital to a successful livestream.
Focus on what you do best – running your business – and let the production team take care of your show.

“Scarlett” BTS
I like working on ACTION movies because it’s so different from what I normally do.
All of 2021 – 2022 I was working on rom coms. I have nothing but love for rom-coms AND I love switching it up to something different.
In 2020 I was invited to work with the multi talented John Lyde on his action film “Scarlett” which was channeling some serious Little Red Riding Hood Vibes.
It was an absolute blast!
tThe cast and crew had an amazing vibe due in no small part to the excellent leadership of the film. Plus the story was just plain fun
“Scarlet” stars Melanie Stone and Brian Krause and was picked up by Lifetime Television.
